I have no problem resoldering the chips if that helps maybe by you just doing chip for CID and CD 70?

If you can remove the chips without damaging the pcb then do so but your breaking legs isn't a good start flood all 8 legs with solder and remove chip at once

Thanks but on CD 70 pcb the chip is glued to the pcb under chip. Can you point me in right direction for virgin or unpaired eeprom dumps please? Cheers Andrew

If you flood with solder the heat will let the "glue" let it go
