Corsa D BCM Programming Problem

Struggling with a 56 plate Corsa D BCM. Story so far, classic well documented BCM corruption after flat battery and power pack start. Reset the BCM with tech2 and attempted to reprogram. Programming ran fine until the point of entering mechanical key number and then tech2 jumps out of programming to a screen message "Please Reselect System" confirm. On confirmation tech2 returns back to body menu.

Car wont start, i have tried several programming attempts and have flashed the module via GlobalTis and pass thru on tech2. Still the exact same glitch on reprogramming.

Am I correct in thinking that the BCM is fried beyond reprogramming?

Not seen this message on tech2 before.

P0685, ECM fault relay open circuit.

Any advice appreciated before i spalsh on a replacement BCM.

It's not one I've ever been asked to look into. Only things I would suggest, you have already tried with tech2 and globaltis.

Not sure what else I can suggest.

Thanks for the reply. Really lost with it now. Further problem is finding an unpaired correct BCM to try. One that has been cleared for sale but it's £200!

tis a strange one but maybe going for 'any' BCM from a 06 onwards to see if it cures that particular problem is the way to go...

Checked it Dean, 433mhz.

Yep, that's my next mission. It's finding one cleared or with code. Only uncertainty is does petrol or Diesel engines matter?
