    Astra H Folding Mirrors wiring

    PECKY;

Was looking into this today as I may retrofit the folding mirrors. i only have the 5 wires so looked into the wiring diagrams. thought these may be usefull to others.

Connector onto the mirror assembly - RH 13153132, LH 13153131

Connector onto the door switch - 13228878

    Door multi plug

The loom you need to add:

    Drivers door

    Door connector - 24 to 7 - Window Switch
    Door connector - 25 to 6 - Window Switch
    Door Connector - 23 to 13 - Window Switch
    Window Switch - 22 to - 5 Mirror Connector
    Window Switch - 23 to - 6 Mirror Connector

    Passenger door

    Door connector - 24 to 6 - Window Switch
    Door connector - 25 to 5 - Window Switch

You just need to check that there is a wire between the 2 door connectors. i.e. 24 -24 and 25 - 25
If not then you need to add one.

    ===========================================

    Door connector - 24 to 7 - Window Switch
    Door connector - 25 to 6 - Window Switch
    Door Connector - 23 to 13 - Window Switch
    Window Switch - 22 to - 5 Mirror Connector
    Window Switch - 23 to - 6 Mirror Connector

    Passenger door

    Door connector - 24 to 6 - Window Switch
    Door connector - 25 to 5 - Window Switch

So for the passenger door, you only need 2 wires, both going from the mirror down to the body harness. How does the drivers door go?

    Door connector - 25 to 6 - Window Switch
    Window Switch - 23 to - 6 Mirror Connector
    Door Connector - 23 to 13 - Window Switch

Do you have to splice into the same wire for it to work?

No, you need 3 wires from the door connector to the switch and 2 additional wires going from the switch to the mirror. Exactly as I posted

    Drivers door

    Door connector - 24 to 7 - Window Switch
    Door connector - 25 to 6 - Window Switch
    Door Connector - 23 to 13 - Window Switch
    Window Switch - 22 to - 5 Mirror Connector
    Window Switch - 23 to - 6 Mirror Connector
No splicing is required providing you have the power on the body loom going into door connector on pin 23. If that isn't there, you need to splice the power wire onto the existing feed.

I think you are getting your pin 23's mixed up, same terminal number, different connector.

If I don't have a cable on pin 23, where can I get current for that cable?

    I think it's 12+

I am wondering if this is possible to make on pre facelift vehicles (with round connector).
