    Coloured screen and Bluetooth install

Hi all, first post! Basically I have the astra h diesel with Bluetooth and I want to transfer the kit into my vxr. Vxr currently has standard screen in it with cd30 mp3, is it possible to switch over the Bluetooth kit whilst also adding a cd70 screen so that when complete the vxr will have the cd70 colour display and Bluetooth with the warning options valid such as tyre pressure etc.

Also, will aux still work as normal or do I need to upgrade the cd30 mp3 to a cd70 also.

Really confused so thanks for the help in advance

    Also,

You've confused me, I can't figure our what you currently have in either car and what you want to put in the VXR?

Nothing is plug and play and needs programming together.

You can only get tyre pressures if you car already has the feature or you add it separately

sorry, i have a cd30 mp3 in my diesel astra but it has bluetooth and i want to put the bluetooth from the diesel into the vxr, which has a cd30 mp3 with no bluetooth and the basic screen. I'd also like to add a coloured display into the VXR, such as the cd70, or do you recommend another coloured display which will do the job?

I basically want to go from having a basic cd30 mp3 in the vxr, to a coloured screen with bluetooth etc.

For this, I would like to know what parts i would need to source as I havent a clue where to start in all honest, thanks.

after some further research i can tell you that in my diesel i have the GID (with bluetooth) whereas in my vxr i simply have the BID, I would like to either have the GID in the vxr or CID

The cheapest option would be to divorce both screens from the cars, and divorce the bluetooth module, and swap the screens over to the new car along with the Bluetooth module and program them in, otherwise you would need a CID and CD70 that has either been divorced, or that would need to be decoded by someone like Pecky. If fitting a CID you would need a new surround. Depending on if the bluetooth was factory fit in the original car, you may need a new loom (also available from Pecky) for the new car.
