Or could ya just change the navi board if had another one if I was that fussed if not mite just leave as it is or put my cd30 mp3 bac in and use that with cid screen instead if that was the easiest option?

you would need to get another navi board from a good radio or a scrap one, sort of defeats the point... then there are two types of navi board, then you would need to desolder it off of the motherboard

as for if its worth it or not only you can decide...

It was just bit strange that was all one min working ok then all ov sudden it just stopped after I tryed ejecting disc to see if ok so the option pecky mentioned do ya strip down cd70 and flash eeprom with another eeprom bin file just thought ide ask?

yes, put on a different bin file with same ident, you'd need to recode your radio to the screen, but imo doubt it will cure it....

If I did go down that root first how would i get the different bin file and then would I have to decode again bac to my code after recoding screen If that makes sense?

you would ask if anyone has one, you would unpair your existing radio/screen. flash the new bin file to the radio then pair them both back up again with your code

So I'm guessing the new bin file if someone had one it won't have an existing security code it would be in reset mode?

all depends what they have, and if both are yours are tech2 then it wont make any difference as you would just pair the screen up the radio using the radios dumps pre (new dumps code) existing code

Ok think know what ya mean as in regards what ya said before aswell if navi board was changed over would it be straight forward or do you av to change eeprom over too cause never stripped or looked inside ov cd70?
