Zafira b electrical problems

My zafira has gone nuts lol turn on the ignition some times everything is dead no lights at all other times you get the lights flashing with the relays in the rec clicking when you can start it everything goes dead when you tuurn the lights on at one point the interior light wouldn't go out

Any help will be great full could it be the cim?

It had the cim recall in 2010 but horn and Vol button are playing up also if you bang the steering wheel it starts to work

It's hard to say, I've seen symptoms like that when the battery is really flat, but I don't think that is your problem.

A fault code read will give a lot more info on the likely cause.

my battery is ok and charging ok i have cleaned up the earths under the bonnet and battery terminals when the lights are on it turns over ok

Sorted now it was the main Earth I missed under the battery connection corroded I made up a new cable and it cured it 😃

I've still got a miss fire but that's another story do you know the best way to test the coil pack its not showing angel codes
