Are you using globaltis or tech2win?
Another one for Pecky... or anyone else who may be able to help.
Trying to flash a UHP4 which contains an unknown PIN code.. Read the ECU data via tech2, hooked up to laptop, old firmware is 1.91 (i think) and new firmware is 3.something. Hook backup to car.. Go to hit F1 to flash download.. attempts to start and then fails spectacularly
Says something similar to SPS uhp4_util failed and then three lines below it
###-0000 ####-0000 Line-0000
Cant remember what the other #'s are...
I've tried reading/writing in more than one car... also tried downgrading my version of tech2 software as well.. Any known issues or have you run into this problem?
I flashed a UHP from 1.91 to latest version a few weeks ago no probs, its one i had installed and was all coded correctly and flashed with no issues.... confused.....
Are you using globaltis or tech2win?

using globaltis.
Removed the radio in case that was interferring (cd70). no change
It fails every time with me when using globaltis32, mine just goes through a loop 3 times and crashes the UHP4. I use online tech2win to do them now.

* Hi pecky,
My UHP4 which updates UHP4 1.91 with TECH2 (use globaltis.), but no update is complete.
Now UHP4 is crashes and not be found, how can I recover UHP4,
Thank,
It has to be flashed with an online subscription, as mentioned above, globaltis doesn't do it and it crashes the module.
No other way.

just flashed UHP4 with original tech2 and globaltis32, no problem at all.
I re-tried again, then remove CD70, re-updated once UHP4(Ver1.9 to 3.2), can be completed successfully
Thank you.
