My zafira does not seem to have a visable engine temp gauge on the dashboard,
according to the Spec details the car is supposed to have one,
Does anyone know were it is located on the dash, CD30 radio and
The BC button shows no function,

There is no Zafira B which has a visible engine temp gauge, so you have not missed anything.
BC, when enabled doesn't show it either.
There is a "Secret Menu" accessed via the radio which shows some diagnostic info, temp is one of them.Richard Peck

I think i am right to say we seem to be going backwards on some design issues
Please tell me can i have the instructions to enable this temp gauge and can i have it permanantly in use?

You have to find it every time, it does not stay on permanent.
