Retro Fitting Bluetooth

A quick question about retrofitting bluetooth:

UHP pin 9 goes to black wire of the microphone
UHP pin 25 goes to white wire of the microphone
How do I differentiate the black and white wire? Also, the microphone has 3 pins/wires?

The wire to the mic should be a shielded microphone cable, with the centre core being the signal and the shield gets connected to the other terminals. Pic 2 on the mic is not used.
