footwell lights Twin top

Hi all,

Was wondering if you could help me..?... I have an astra 1.9 tdci 16v twintop and i want to put red footwell lights in that come on with the courtesy lights but all "how to's" Ive seen are for the hatch back which arent the same as the twintop due to the switches for the roof and windows being where the courtesy light would be so it uses the map lights which is less than desirable because the footwell light will come on when i turn the map lights on however if i tap off the less used driver side than this would be ok? ....but does anybody know which wires to tap off?
