Steering wheel control smd change

Thanks for the reply Pecky. I tried them that way round originally and they didn't work which is why I turned them all around so they are opposite now. Is it likely to be a problem with the board. Worse case scenario. Could I boom to come and see if you can sort them. If not could I buy some off you with red switches please

Latest developement. Now the horn isn't working. Fuse it ok.

i can guess that removing steering controls pulled out some wires as i remember how long they are.

I was wondering that too. Hope it's not the CIM. When I get chance I'm going to take the airbag off and have a look

Indeed there is. I took airbag off today and removed the loom out the wheel. Couldn't find any breaks or damage so was rather annoyed. Put it all back together, turned the key and hey presto. All new red smds are working. Steering wheel controls are working again and horn is working again!!

Managed to get some half decent pictures off my mobile.

Currently done the dials, window switches and steering wheel (finally). In white and red. Done the rear fog switch in red and will do the rest in white when I get some more plcc-2's
