it could as door open signal comes from doors if remember correctly was grey wire, double check wiring if its not touching a ground
Hi all,
well yesterday while working around the door loom I stupidly broke a wire with out thinking about job.
I have reconnected this with small extension and spades and wrapped up with electrical tape. I have to admit to using a thinner wire for said extension, all I had. New decent wire turned up this morning finally.
Reconnected battery and tested everything and all but the the adjustment of passenger wing mirror up and works, now looking at it it seems as though the interior lighting in door flash's when I press button's!!!
Would my wire extension be cause of this issue???

Ok thats great, I have to get at it again tomorrow to see what colour it was or have nicked another wire.
in driver door its grey/white all others grey
when interior lighting flashes you mean in doors or in roof console
and does door open warning comes up on speedo or flashes when you press a buttons
Well I only noticed the light in door handle as was looking directly at mirror for life, I will look at it again later see if the rest flash's. The wire I broke was black/blue, I going to pull loom out of a pillar and double check and use some decent wire.
Sure I found problem, pulled both looms out and found bent pin in door connections.
Changed wire still, will test at later date when got bits back together.
Cheers for help.
