BID - No Radio !

Evening Everyone,

Found you all through the AOC. A quick & hopefully simple question....

I've salvaged a BID from a dead Zafira & would like to put it in the Astra. I don't have the radio from the Zafira, or even a original radio in my Astra. What's the display going to do? I've heard they are paired with radios, and as I have no compatible radio what will the BID do? Display Safe or less?

As the display is coded it will work in your Astra without saying display safe. It will need programming to the astra rather than zafira to get the trip functions working.

If you them add a factory radio it will then need decoding and pairing to new radio.
