Unfortunately not one I have heard of myself, but then the mechanics side is beyond my expertise.
Astra 1.3 cdti estate - engine shake when doing around 40mph , has there been a cure for this common problem yet?, I have trawled the internet and the main advise is for a new EGR valve, unfortunately plenty of people have had this done and the prob still persists, it seems like it just does not have a cure!
I am hoping that I am wrong and that someone has finally cracked this problem to save me going insane.

Is it engine (check engine mounts ) or your revs or speed gauge jumping? If speed dial is jumping can be faulty speed sensor (complete bearing)
The engine just does not like 1500-1800 revs, it shakes and seems to miss just like a bad plug lead would, once through the 2000 rev mark all is well but once cruising in under 2000 it shakes. I have now been told that that is what happens with this particular engine because it is meant for motorway driving and not really around town at 30mph. If this is the case then I am astonished that anyone would have bought one.
cant imagine 1.3 for motorway driving who told you this?
How many revs you got when doing 70mph?
