Thanks Packy
Hi,
I bought some new clock to activate the sport button, but i don't have the security pass of the donor car
After i put the new clocks on, i could read the clock from OpCom and find the VIN.
Can i find the car pass somewhere but not at an Opel dealer?
I don't have that button to read EEPROM, don't know why.
Thanks
Eeprom needs to be desoldered and read with eeprom programmer opcom doesnt support it
Eeprom reading is the only free way, You will not find an eeprom menu as it is not possible to read with opcom, that only works with Astra G and Corsa C etc.Hi,

Via VIN will always cost as Opel charge for it. Dealerships in UK only get code if you prove ownership of the car they came from, You may find in your country it is the same.

If you got tools than yes
Hello Pecky,
Could you please advise what is the eeprom chip type, and where it is located in IPC?
I've searched in https://tech2.guru/eeprom-locations/ , but I couldn't find any info regarding IPC.
Regards,
Nick
Hey Mirosław,
Thanks for quick reply. But situation now is pretty bad.. I thought that eeprom chip is located on back side on IPC. Now I'm seeing that it is located twice on the front. This means I have to remove the needles. I have no idea how to do it. In the past I tried to remove needles on Omega A speedo and I broke it up.
Is there any way to obtain eeprom record from the backside of the IPC?

Front only,
Needles are easy, Grab them and twist anticlockwise whilst pulling up whilst holding onto the central part.
