You would need to read it from the REC or the CIM unit or such on yours as the current display does not contain a pin as its an early year one where the radio asks for a code when disconnected...
Can you not get the car pass from vauxhall?
To get a .bin file you need a eprom programmer such as a upa-usb.. Remove the 8 pin eprom in question with hot air gun / soldering iron, place into reader and then 'read' the chip in a hex format.. then upload to here
okay..thats going to be too much headache for me.. and after all that, that code which you get is only for the HU/display right? its not gona be security code? You would need to read it from the REC or the CIM unit or such on yours as the current display does not contain a pin as its an early year one where the radio asks for a code when disconnected...

correct on older vehicles there is not a code held in the display.. even if your going to get it from the radio it would only be a radio code.. the change didnt happen to approx 54plate. (vectra)...
ok then.... then i have no other choices to go and see the dealers...ghrrrr
Read code from ipc, easy to get to
Or just book in with pecky
forgot about the clocks, although that still raises the same issues for the OP
