you then remove the eprom (93c66) i think and read the bin file.

Thanks for that, but looking at prices of eeprom programmers it’s not worth me buying one to use it once. I’ll be better off finding someone as local as possible to do it for me I think, I’ll see what happens !.
Really do want it sorting out tho as I have the very basic display atm.

Things haven’t worked out like I thought I’m afraid. I bought it of a website advertised as a GID with the serial and ident given above. It’s come this morning and on opening the parcel, and it’s a BID totally different serial and ident so going to see if I can send it back.
