Sorry for that will correct my mistake
Correct wire with terminal just choose your desired lenght http://diagnostics.org.uk/shop/loom-...ecepticle.html
One end to cd70 quadlock another end to jack socket where wire is missing 100% sure it will be ground (negative)

OK before doing something check which pins you got and which are missing Left must be pin 25/right must be pin 24 and negative or ground must be pin 18 thats on quadlock conector which goes in cd70 if pin 18 is missing just add it

      UPDATE:

i purchased a cd70 factory aux head unit . went to stampedes yesterday and suprise suprise its still the same ???
i get the music IE treble , bass .
but the vocal is muffled and has an echo sound ??
the first first cd70 non aux that i bought , did the same thing.
also noticed the fader is non accessable . Its fixed at +1 , and when i scroll the bass , treble , balance it hops over the fader ?
im going to take the seats and floor carpet out on monday .
Me and a friend from work are going to have a look at it . Because the aerial isnt working since installing the new carpet , im guessing its related .

i think i have only got 2 pins , left and right in the quad lock . Im not sure why it hasn't got the earth present?
i can see the earth in the phono socket/port . Im assuming its earthed in a main loom somewhere?

I will update when its sorted .

Pecky I still dont have the bluetooth sorted yet. Also im going to be adding tpms and park pilot . Please could i have it tech'd at yours and sort the bluetooth out at the same time ?

      regards tim

      Re: cd70 aux in noise?

So I have put another jack/socket in place of the factory one.
All is well except there is a lot of crackling.
Im going to get a high quality shielded cable.
Hopefully that will solve the crackling issue.

well if grounded incorrectly can be noises but if you got amp fitted and aux cable is to close to positive cable you can get alternator noise aswel but that is noticable especially when revving
pecky should have aux cables or buy oem one
