[Astra H] Hazard switch assembly partially stopped working

Hi all, in need of some help regarding the central hazard switch assembly.

My H came with a 4 button hazard switch bar.
I bought a 6 button with heated seat controls to retrofit, but when I connected the switch bar to test it out it would not turn on the hazard lights, lock the doors, etc.
When I put my original 4 button bar back in, it also stopped working! No hazard lights, and the LEDs behind each button no longer light up. The only thing that works is the lock switch, but the red indicator LED doesn't turn on. From the pinout diagrams here it doesn't look like I could have shorted anything, and the fuses are all intact still. The turn signals work properly from the steering wheel stalk. It just seems like the switch bar isn't actually sending orders anymore. Also confused as to why the LED backlights stopped working too?

Any ideas or help would be appreciated, I'd like to troubleshoot this before giving it over to the dealers.

    Thanks!

Just changing the switch bar should not cause any issues. Are you certain the connector is locked in fully as it is possible to turn the lever on the first cam and it will close without pushing the connector fully onto the pins.

Keep the lever in the open position and push it is as far as you can before turning the lever.

      I've seen that happen before.

Yup, that was it! It was locked on the first cam like you said. I made sure to push the connector on all the way, and now all functions are working fine on both switch bars. Thanks for the help!
