    front rad fan not running when A/C switched on

    hi folks
    zafira 08 reg 120 cdti
    switch on A/C, compressor runs, but the front rad fan does not run
    removed power connector from the bottom of the front rad fan, with A/C on & A/C compressor run there is no power to any of the 3 cables in the power connector
    fuses 5 & 6 are ok
    not tested the relays K11, K12, K13, but each one feels warm so I think the relay coil's are energised
    I'm not sure if either the front or rear rad fan work via the engine temp

    tried oncom on the output tests
    A/C relays 1,2,3 but kept getting ECU returns negative (something like that) and then comms lost error
    oncom did get A/C relay 3 to run a fan on the test, not sure what fan it run (front or rear) as I was in the car

    what else can I check
    thanks

      tried the tests in the attached pdf file
      T003 = 12volts
      T004 = 12volts
      T005 = fans did not run
      here is where I've stopped
      T036 where is M3B motor ?

      I removed the power connector on the front Rad Fan checked connections from K12 relay socket 87 to the power connector, it feeds the brown/green connection

      I carried out test T036 as if the front rad fan was M3B (not sure if I'm right)

      T036 = 0 volts
      T037 = 0 volts
      T039 = 0 volts says back to T036

      last year I had to remove the fuse box top (not lid, top) as rain water had got into the box (common fault) do you a connection could have came off at that time ?
      what else can I check
