As far as I know the coolant level rises when hot hence why its suggested to check the level when the coolant is cold. Someone can correct me if im wrong![]()
Cheers Adz and Smiffy, its way to low. Its going back. I give up with garages wish I did it myself now![]()
Just top it up. It happens sometimes as when its fully drained and topped up it takes time to get round the system. If it keeps going low then take it back
it would be normal for coolant levels to drop once you fill it up with new coolant. The garage should have advised you to check it once cooled down and to top it up as necessary over the next day or two.
Yeah I agree with you lads, you can tell they have drained it and not toped it up again. you would think the garage would know that.
They most likely have mate filled it up full but because you have been driving it and the waters been going through the system it will obviously reduce the amount in reservoir which is normal. they should just have advised you to check it after a few journeys after cars been warmed up and cooled down to top it up if needs be.
As said it will drop as it slowly filled the air locks as you drove away mate.. Just top it up with water if theres already anti freeze been put in![]()
